Charwood Energy announced on Tuesday evening that it had secured three projects worth a total of more than three million euros, most of which will be delivered and invoiced in 2023.

The Morbihan-based group - which designs and installs equipment for the production of renewable energy from biomass - yesterday announced the launch of the construction of a sanitation unit in Normandy and a biomass heating plant in the Sarthe region.

These projects, for which contracts were announced last September, are to be carried out for a group of communes and 15 farms.

At the same time, Charwood has signed a new order for the construction of a biomass heating plant in Mayenne, France, on behalf of a large-scale poultry breeder.

Coupled with a heating network more than 1,000 meters long, this project, with a capacity of 700kW wood and 1,100kW gas, will cover eight buildings with a total surface area of 11,000 m2.000 m2.

It will improve breeding conditions and animal welfare on the farm by providing dry heat to reduce humidity in the buildings, while replacing the use of fossil gas with local biomass.
