ChiikiShinbunsha Company Limited reported consolidated earnings results for the third quarter ended August 31, 2016. For the period, the company reported net sales were JPY 2,891 million compared with JPY 2,556 million a year ago. Operating income was JPY 93 million compared with JPY 95 million a year ago. Ordinary income was JPY 92 million compared with JPY 99 million a year ago. Net income attributable to owners of parent was JPY 171 million and net income per share of JPY 93.28 compared with JPY 55 million and net income per share of JPY 29.90 a year ago.
The company provided earnings guidance for the full year of the fiscal year ending August 31, 2016. For the full term, the company expects net sales of JPY 3,929 million, operating income of JPY 144 million, ordinary income of JPY 142 million and income attributable to owners of parent of JPY 212 million or JPY 115.39 per share.
