ANNOUNCEMENT

POWER GENERATION FOR APRIL 2021

The announcement is made by China Datang Corporation Renewable Power Co., Limited* (the "Company") pursuant to Rule 13.09(2) of the Rules Governing the Listing of Securities on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited and Inside Information Provisions under Part XIVA of the Securities and Futures Ordinance (Cap. 571 of the Laws of Hong Kong).

The board of directors (the "Board") of the Company announces that, according to the Company's preliminary statistics, the power generation of the Company and its subsidiaries (the "Group") for April 2021 on consolidated basis amounted to 2,503,520 MWh, representing an increase of 29.57% compared with that of the corresponding period of 2020, of which, the wind power generation amounted to 2,412,338 MWh, representing an increase of 27.06% compared with that of the corresponding period of 2020; the photovoltaic power generation amounted to 89,923 MWh, representing an increase of 187.05% compared with that of the corresponding period of 2020; and the gas power generation amounted to 1,260 MWh, representing a decrease of 46.38% compared with that of the corresponding period of 2020. As of 30 April 2021, the total power generation of the Group for 2021 amounted to 10,028,073 MWh, representing an increase of 35.96% compared with that of the corresponding period of 2020, of which, the wind power generation amounted to 9,760,063 MWh, representing an increase of 34.26% compared with that of the corresponding period of 2020; the photovoltaic power generation amounted to 262,263 MWh, representing an increase of 167.81% compared with that of the corresponding period of 2020; and the gas power generation amounted to 5,747 MWh, representing a decrease of 32.78% compared with that of the corresponding period of 2020.
