China Daye Non-Ferrous Metals Mining Limited provided consolidated earnings guidance for the year ended 31 December 2023. For the period, the group expected to record a substantial increase in profit as compared with that for the year ended 31 December 2022. The Board considers that the anticipated significant increase in revenue of the Group for the year ended 31 December 2023 is mainly attributable to the year-on-year increase in output of cathode copper and gold, being the main products of the Company, after Yangxin Hongsheng Copper Industry Company Limited, a non-wholly owned subsidiary of the Company was officially put into operation in 2023.

The anticipated significant increase in profit of the Group for year ended 31 December 2023 is mainly attributable to the fact that Yangxin Hongsheng achieved full production immediately after being put into operation in 2023 and achieved a higher net profit, which caused the net profit of the Group to increase significantly. In view of the above, the Board expects that the revenue for the year ended 31 December 2023 amounted to approximately RMB 44,784,723,000 (2022: RMB 33,658,516,000), representing a year- on-year increase of approximately 33.06%. Profit for the year was approximately RMB 202,496,000 (2022: Loss of RMB 6,416,000), representing a year-on year increase of approximately RMB 208,912,000.
