On January 28, 2016, the Indonesia Takara Coal-fired Power Station Project generally contracted by CGGC EPC initiated the hoisting of 1# boiler steel structure. As a major node project in the construction of thermal power station, the hoisting of boiler steel structure symbolizes the formal initiation of on-site installation of the power station, when the Takara Coal-fired Power Station will welcome a new construction peak.

Grandly simple hoisting ceremony was convened on the project site. The project owner, engineers, heads of local government responsible for the project site, local army and police station representatives were invited and presented. The owner principals briefly commented on the construction of the Takara Project in early stage, emphasized the highly expectations of Joko Widodo, President of Indonesia on the project's schedule during commencement ceremony, positively appraised the accomplishment of this landmark node as scheduled and appealed all sectors of the society to enthusiastically support the execution of the project, expecting CGGC making persistent efforts to abide by preset schedule and fulfill the Takara Project with perfect quality. The heads of local government responsible for the project site stated that the construction of the project could actively drive local employment and economic development and promised to provide all possible convenience and assistance for sufficient execution thereof, thus constructing a favorable external environment.

Relevant official representatives of the Project Department expressed their sincere appreciation towards the efforts and supports of all participant units and government institutionson behalf of CGGC and promised that this landmark node would be regarded as a new starting point for further elaborate organization, planning and promotion of the scheduled power generation and operation of the Takara Project and that all social responsibilities would be implemented positively, striving to create more employment opportunities for local job hunters and making corresponding contribution to the development of local economy.

The 2×100MW Takara Coal-fired Power Station Project is located at Punagaya Village, Jeneponto City, South Sulawesi Province, Indonesia, and is jointly contracted, organized and executed by CGGC and local companies in Indonesia, with the contractual term lasting for 33 months. Upon the completion of the project, the power shortage suffered by South Sulawesi Province would be greatly released, significantly improving local economic level and people's living quality.
