China Machinery Engineering : CMEC and GE Signs MoU on Coal-fired Power Plant Project in Sub-Saharan Africa

At 9:00 am May 22 local time, Vice President Fang Yanshui met with the delegation of GE Power led by Steve Bolze, President of GE Power in Abidjan, the capital of Coted'Ivoire. The two sidescommunicatedwith each other on the development of their key projects.

After the meeting, both sides signed the memorandum of understanding (MoU) on the coal-fired power plant project in sub-Saharan Africa and exchanged extensive views on the potential opportunity and next-stage working plan of the coal-fired power plant. With the MoU signed, CMEC and GE will conduct closer cooperation on the coal-fired power plant project in sub-Saharan Africa.
