General manager of China Nonferrous Metal Mining (Group) Co., Ltd. (holding group company of our company) Zhang Keli and his party visited NFC Africa Mining PLC. (subsidiary enterprise of our company) (hereafter referred to as NFCA) for investigation and research on June 6, 2017, Zambia local time. Tao Xinghu (Chairman of the board of the company), Zhang Lin (President of the company), Zhang Jinjun (vice president of the company) and Liu Xinghua (CFO of the company) accompanied them during the investigation and research.
General manager Zhang Keli and his party carried out field study on the construction site of NFCA southeast ore body project and training base of trackless facilities. General manager Zhang Keli fully affirmed all the works that have been done by NFCA and the achievements obtained by NFCA after listening to the work report of Zhang Jinjun (Vice president of the company, NFCA general manager) and special report on the southeast ore body project construction condition. He pointed out that NFCA has fended off the market pressure since last year. Down-to-earth and pragmatic work and precise management have been done by NFCA. Preferable operating performance has been obtained by centering on three main lines, including production and management of main and west ore bodies, system upgrading and reconstruction and infrastructure construction of southeast ore body, and grasping of quality improving and efficiency increase. Centering on production increase and efficiency improving of west ore body, as well as the application of new technologies, new process and automation in infrastructure construction of southeast ore body, large amount of research work and pre-preparation work, which laid good foundation for future development, have been implemented. Four points of requirements on the production and management, technological transformation and key projection construction were put forward by general manager Zhang Keli as follows: Firstly, further precise management shall be conducted so that the cost can be lowered. Secondly, think as broadly as possible so that the models can be innovated. Thirdly, further technological transformation must be carried out so that quality improving and efficiency increase can be achieved. Fourthly, strengthen the building of talents team and give play to the efficiency of talents.
