China Parenting Network Holdings Limited provided consolidated earnings guidance for the year ended 31 December 2019. For the year ended 31 December 2019, the Group is expected to record a reduction of approximately 16% in revenue for the year 2019 as compared to that for the year ended 31 December 2018, primarily attributable to the prolonged decline in China's macro economy and the budget reduction of customers in certain sectors, which resulted in the decrease in the company's revenue in 2019. The Group is expected to record a decrease of approximately 85% in profit for the year 2019 as compared to that for the year ended 31 December 2018, primarily attributable to (i) the decrease of approximately 36% in gross profit, the decrease of approximately 16% in revenue, and the increase of approximately 59% in cost of sales; and (ii) the increased cost of sales as the Group made more efforts to the marketing and technical support for CI Web and its related APPs. The Company's income from equity investments at fair value through other comprehensive income under other comprehensive income for the year is expected to increase significantly to approximately RMB 30.0 million to RMB 40.0 million in 2019, representing an increase of approximately 260%-380% as compared to that of 2018. Such increase is expected to allow the Company's total comprehensive income for 2019 remain almost the same as that of 2018.
