Zhunge'er Energy's nano hydrocarbon fuel preparation and production project was recently evaluated by the industry experts organized by China National Coal Association, and was confirmed that the project is the first of its kind in the world and represents the most advanced technological standard worldwide.

The project is a circulating fluidized bed combustion technology that can produce aluminum and silicon powder using nano hydrocarbon as fuel. It marks that the company has established a calculation method for the thermal performance of circulating fluidized bed boilers burning nano hydrocarbon fuel.

The project applies a fourth-generation circulating fluidized bed combustion technology that can effectively produce aluminum and silicon powder using nano hydrocarbon fuel.

The researchers mastered the mechanism of low-temperature and high-efficiency combustion of nano hydrocarbon fuel through trial combustion in a 3 MW experimental device. The project realizes less than 5 percent of fly ash combustible of aluminum and silicon powder production and more than 52 percent of alumina content output under low temperature combustion, improving reactivity and the output rate of aluminum and silicon powder.

The alumina plant, the raw material and power center and the electrolytic aluminum plant are the main pretreatment facilities of the company's entire core industrial chain of the circular economy. The original model of the boilers would become a source end of raw materials, steam and power on the industrial chain to realize integrated operation, which is expected to reduce electricity costs and encourage innovation.
