• 　　　In the morning of March 24 local time, witnessed by Chinese Premier Li Keqiang and his Australian counterpart Malcolm Turnbull, Wang Xiangming, the President of China State Construction Engineering Corp., Ltd. (CSCEC), and Jonathon Young, Chairman of BBIC in Australia, signed an MOU for a package of infrastructure projects in Western Australia, worth AUD5 billion (about USD3.75 billion).

  　The project, located in the coastal area in the central and northern part of Pilbara of Western Australia, is a large comprehensive construction and developed project including ports, railway infrastructure and PIOP iron ore. Receiving great support from the Australian Government, the project is one of the key projects of Australia's 'northern development' program. Once completed, it will facilitate the export of iron ore in central Pilbara, and help promote bilateral economic and trade activities in the FTA between China and Australia.

  　According to information, among 65 countries along the One Belt and One Road, 45 countries have CSCEC's institutions. As so many projects have been implemented, such as Lahore-Karachi Motorway in Pakistan, CC4 Section of Temburong Bridge in Brunei, Signature towner in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and signature towner in Jakarta, Indonesia, CSCEC's efforts on implementing the One Belt One Road Initiative have brought actual results, indicating the Company has entered a period of harvest for its international strategy.
  The signing of the MOU marks CSCEC's first entry into the Australian market and another major achievement in promoting One Belt One Road projects.
