China Television Company, Ltd. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2023. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 221.65 million compared to TWD 200.37 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 12.11 million compared to TWD 4.27 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.2 compared to TWD 0.07 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was TWD 435.1 million compared to TWD 404.63 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 29.56 million compared to TWD 8.62 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.49 compared to TWD 0.14 a year ago.
China Television Co., Ltd is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the provision of television advertising services. The Companyâs primary business includes the provision of television (TV) advertisement broadcasting services, the publishing and issuing of broadcasting news and programs, the copyright distribution of channels and digital programs, the operation of office websites, the distribution of advertising, as well as the provision of integrated marketing solution services. The Company is also involved in the provision of leasing services of studio equipment, sets and props. The Company operates its businesses primarily in Taiwan market.
