"Zero-Carbon Campus" Project Drives Win-Win Future for Enterprises and Local Communities
2023-08-30
Recently, the "Zero-Carbon Campus" Demonstration Project at Zhangye Middle School has officially entered the engineering implementation phase. This project is a major initiative by CYPC to promote the construction of a "Zero-Carbon City" in Zhangye. It is also the first integrated smart energy project undertaken by CYPC in Gansu Province. The project involves the construction of rooftop solar carport distributed photovoltaic power generation projects and charging stations, along with a certain-scale electrochemical energy storage system. It also includes upgrading heating and lighting systems through iterative improvements, as well as energy-saving and water-saving transformations. These measures will significantly reduce the overall energy consumption of the campus and generate benefits through green electricity certificate trading.
Next, CYPC will continue to enhance communication and cooperation with Zhangye City, striving to transform the "Zero-Carbon Campus" Demonstration Project at Zhangye Middle School into a practical "textbook exemplar" of green, low-carbon, and educational initiatives. It will develop demonstration projects such as the "Zero-Carbon Construction Site" and "Zero-Carbon Campsite" for the Zhangye Pandao Mountain Pumping & Storage Project, so as to drive the collaboration between enterprises and local communities into a new level and write more great stories.
