CIELO S.A. The Google and BettrAdds solutions, offered by Cielo, aims to assist establishments at different stages of their digitalization journey, comprising three additional offers to Cielo's customers: easier access to Google My Business; a subscription service for creating an online store; and access to the Google Ads tool, with special benefits for Cielo's customers.

By offering eCommerce solutions to micro and small companies, Cielo's performance is aligned with the company's strategy to add value to the relationship with customers in this segment, and to help mitigate the effects of the pandemic on the business environment.

Cielo and Google closed a deal to encourage the digitalization of small

and medium businesses on the Internet

By offering a profile in Google My Business, a virtual advertising store in Google Ads, the initiative targets 600 thousand companies with few or no digital presence

Barueri, April 8, 2021 - Cielo, a leader in electronic payment solutions in Brazil and Latin America, closed a deal with Google to help small- and medium-sized Brazilian companies to digitalize their businesses and increase exposure on the Internet. This innovation has potential to impact more than 600 thousand entrepreneurs all over Brazil, who will have access to tolls to start operating in the digital environment. According to a Google survey, 40% of Brazilian SMEs have no have digital presence.

By means of this initiative, clients' digitalization journey will be divided into three steps. The first is the registration in Google My Business, a free platform that allows managing the company's profile that appears in Search results and on Google Maps, with basic information about the business, such as address, telephone number, website, working hours and directions. In 2020, the number of businesses verified in Google My Business increased by 25%.

When a company accredits to Cielo, it will have the option to register its data for free in order to create its profile in Google My Business nearly instantly. "Studies show an increase in the number of visits to the physical stores of businesses that have a Google My Business profile. We are very glad to team up one of the world's most important technology companies to offer such benefit to our clients in such an important moment of recovery of both the economy and businesses", says Cielo's CEO Paulo Caffarelli.

The second step to make business more digital is the creation of a virtual store developed with the technology of BetterAds. Cielo will now offer an online catalogue of products integrated with its payment methods, among which Super Link. The solution allows businesses to send a payment link to their customers for the purchase to be completed over the Internet, with an option for installment payments. The company can launch a virtual store with very few clicks in nearly 15 minutes. The monthly fee charged by BetterAds for this service is R$30.

By opening a virtual store, Cielo's clients can enjoy another benefit of the deal with Google. Cielo will boost entrepreneurs' sales with Google Ads, a must-have tool for e-commerce. This service will place the ads of entrepreneurs' virtual stores at the top of Google's results page based on the location of those searching for a product or service, thus helping small businesses sell.
