CK Infrastructure Holdings Ltd. said Wednesday that its first-half net profit dived 52%, weighed by the remeasurement of deferred tax liabilities of its U.K operations.

Net profit fell to 2.86 billion Hong Kong dollars (US$369.0 million), while turnover rose slightly to HK$18.24 billion from HK$18.07 billion, the Hong Kong-listed company said.

The company said the Covid-19 pandemic hasn't affected its businesses significantly and most of its businesses should recover quickly once the global situation improves.
