Clientron, a Taiwan based technology provider, has introduced its POS system PSL540 that can convert a retail space into a self-service kiosk and be reverted back to a typical POS, according to a press release. The solution is designed to be a versatile solution for bakeries that can be deployed in place of a traditional self-serve kiosk.

Features include:

  • The 14-inch POS terminal features a fanless design with an Intel Celeron N3160 Quad-Core that runs the POS system.
  • A Vesa pole mount can be installed in the terminal at a proper height to fit the bakery's space.
  • An embedded scanner and thermal printer enable self-serve product scanning, e-payment transaction and receipt printing.
  • Peripherals include a magnetic stripe reader, RFID, VFD and a 4.3-inch second display to provide additional functions.
  • IP64 water and dust proof level and a scratch-resistant display.
