(Alliance News) - Comal Spa has announced that it has signed two contracts worth a total of EUR41.5 million with a leading foreign energy investor for the turnkey supply on an EPC-M formula of a photovoltaic plant and the connection to another plant in southern Italy. The first contract also includes the supply of Comal's "Sun Hunter" tracker.

The "Sun Hunter" tracker is a proprietary product designed and manufactured by Comal in its Montalto di Castro factory. It is a state-of-the-art product, already with an extensive track record of completed installations, and allows for a significant increase in the levels of energy produced by the plant and a strong reduction in wind damage.

The use of trackers of different lengths and the ability to independently set the angles of each tracker, even at the end of the back-tracking, makes it possible to maximize the power that each individual field can generate.

Alfredo Balletti, managing director of Comal, commented, "After the brilliant closing of 2023, these two new relevant contracts strengthen Comal's position as the Italian leader in the photovoltaic sector and our business model based on the design, construction and maintenance of large plants with EPC formula and the manufacturing of our tracker product, which is at the forefront of technology and of strategic importance in the market."

"The strategy set will be the key lever to fully intercept the growth of the Italian and international market ensuring the further development of the company both in the short and long term."
