Commerce Bancshares : Bank Veteran Jennifer White Named Director of Commercial Payments Account Management

Kansas City, MO - Aug. 13, 2021 - Commerce Bank and Director of Commercial Payments Jeff Burik are pleased to announce that Jennifer White has been promoted to senior vice president and director of commercial payments account management, effective Aug. 9, 2021.
White has served in various roles throughout her 23-year tenure with Commerce, most recently as national account manager on the payments team. In her various roles with Commerce, she has been involved with product development, implementations, system conversions and overall client experience.
'We created this new role specifically for Jennifer, recognizing a need to consistently apply best practice across the entire commercial payments division's client services,' said Commerce Bank Director of Commercial Payments Jeff Burik. 'Jennifer is a problem solver at her core and has a demonstrated history of tremendous leadership at Commerce. This new role and promotion will bring great value to our customers and payments team collectively.'
In her new role, White will continue leading an effort to evaluate and ideate Commerce Payments Account Management strategies, segmentation and client experience. Her work will span several areas of the payments team, bringing associates together from card account management, client support, healthcare account management, merchant account management and client advocacy.
White received a Bachelor of Science in general sales, merchandising and related marketing operations from Northwest Missouri State in Maryville, Mo. She serves as a member of Commerce's Pride, Rise and Vibe employee resource groups and was a participant in Commerce's DEI Crucial Conversations pilot this spring. She has also served as a coach for Girls on the Run and is involved in various mentorship roles.
