Cepsa reported earnings and production results for the first quarter of 2017. Adjusted net profit for the first quarter of 2017, eliminating non-recurring items and calculating the change in inventories at replacement cost (clean CCS), amounted to EUR 201 million, significantly higher than the first quarter of 2016 of EUR 106 million. Net profit as per IFRS was EUR 202 million compared to EUR 106 million a year ago.

For the quarter, the company's crude production amounted to 93,400 barrels a day, slightly higher than that of 2016, with a total of 3.7 million barrels sold in the period.
