Computer Forms (Malaysia) Berhad had previously announced its joint venture effort with Energy Absolute Public Company Limited. The Joint Venture Agreement was executed between CFM and EAPCL's subsdiary, EA Mobility Holding Co. Ltd. In the JV Agreement, CFM and EAPCL have agreed to combine EAPCL's advancement in the EV sector and CFM's local presence and familiarity of the Malaysian automobile market to better penetrate the Malaysian market in the promotion and encouragement of EVs, done through the alliance's joint venture company in Malaysia, Energy Absolute (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd ("EA Malaysia").

EA Malaysia was described to be in the business of selling, distribution, assembling and production of electric vehicles, transports and related accessories and infrastructures which shall include products known as E-bus, E-truck, E-ferry and electric vehicle charger s, amongst others, in line with Malaysia's policy. In response to enquiries from shareholders regarding the status of the joint venture, the Management of CFM has confirmed that both CFM and EAPCL remains positive on the outcome of the joint venture and that the parties are currently in the final stages of negotiation to solidify the launch and operation of Malaysia's pioneer EV project. The Management further believes that EA Malaysia will be able to develop and maintain a fully electric transportation sy stem in line with Malaysia's policy of reducing consumption of fossil fuels by 37% before year 2040 and towards the goal of becoming a zero carbon emission society.
