Coronado Global Resources Inc. provided an update on the recent incident at its Curragh Mine Complex ("Curragh") in Queensland, Australia, when an employee, Mr. Clark Peadon was fatally injured while working in the Dragline operations on 21 November 2021. Resources Safety & Health Queensland Inspectors have lifted the directive to suspend all Dragline operations at Curragh, subject to compliance with a staged return to work plan and schedule for dragline operations provided by Curragh. Return to work safety and training sessions will now take place prior to all Dragline shifts recommencing. Following the resumption of Dragline operations, there are no ongoing directives or restrictions on the mine. Prior to the lifting of the directive, Curragh had resumed all non-Dragline operations in a gradual and phased approach from 24 November 2021. The investigation into the incident by the Company is continuing. The Company continues to provide counselling and support to all employees, contractors and their families following this tragic event.
