On 27 February, COSCO SHIPPING Development held its first extraordinary general meeting for 2023. All directors, supervisors and senior executives of the Company attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Liu Chong, Chairman, and Mr. Cai Lei, Secretary to the Board, acted as the secretary of the meeting.

　　At the meeting, the "Proposal on the General Authorization to Register and Issue Corporate Bonds", the "Proposal on the Election of Non-Independent Directors for the Renewal of the Board of Directors", the "Proposal on the Election of Independent Directors for the Renewal of the Board of Directors" and the "Proposal on the Election of the Supervisory Board for the Renewal of the Board of Directors" and other related proposals were discussed and all passed by a majority of votes. The new Board of Directors and Board of Supervisors of COSCO SHIPPING Development were successfully elected. On the same day, the Company held the first meeting of the Seventh Session of the Board of Directors and elected Mr. Liu Chong as the Chairman of this session.

Members of the Seventh Session of the Board of Directors of COSCO SHIPPING Development include:

　　Mr. Liu Chong, Chairman; Mr. Zhang Mingwen, Executive Director; Mr. Huang Jian, Mr. Liang Yanfeng and Mr. Ye Chengzhi, Non-Executive Directors; Mr. Lu Jianzhong, Mr. Zhang Weihua, Mr. Shao Ruiqing and Mr. Chen Guoliang, Independent Directors.

　　Members of the Seventh Session of Board of Supervisors of COSCO SHIPPING Development include:

Mr. Ye Hongjun, Chairman; Ms. Zhu Mei, Supervisor; and Mr. Zhao Xiaobo, Employee Supervisor.

　　In 2023, under the leadership of the new Board of Directors, COSCO SHIPPING Development will focus on the core business of shipping, integrate industry and finance, strengthen technological innovation, promote green and low-carbon, and embark on a new journey of high-quality development in the face of market opportunities and environmental challenges.
