Countryside, one of the UK's leading home builders specialising in place making and urban regeneration, has been ranked in the Financial Times' 1000 fastest growing companies in Europe.

The FT1000 lists the 1,000 companies in Europe that have achieved the highest percentage growth in revenues between 2012 and 2015.

Countryside, founded in 1958, operates across England and focuses on place making, delivering homes through two divisions - Housebuilding and Partnerships. For the year ended 30 September 2016 it completed 2,657 homes with revenues of £777.0m.

Ian Sutcliffe, Group Chief Executive of Countryside, commented: 'This recognition is testament to the quality of the homes we have been creating and the dedication and talent of our team. We have seen significant expansion in both the scale and range of our activities over the last few years, reflecting the demand for our unique expertise both as a home builder and a partner to local authorities and registered providers. With a strong track record in successful delivery of regeneration projects, I have no doubt we will build on this momentum, continuing to make lives better for communities across the country.'
