CSS Industries, Inc. announced earnings results for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2019. For the fourth quarter, the company announced sales was USD 72.004 million compared to USD 81.533 million a year ago. Operating loss was USD 21.700 million compared to USD 48.560 million a year ago. Net loss was USD 23.389 million compared to USD 38.421 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was USD 2.65 compared to USD 4.21 a year ago.
For the full year, sales was USD 382.263 million compared to USD 361.896 million a year ago. Operating loss was USD 42.471 million compared to USD 45.730 million a year ago. Net loss was USD 53.545 million compared to USD 36.520 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was USD 5.97 compared to USD 4.01 a year ago.
