CWT EXECUTIVE NAMED AS WINNER FOR BEST CFO AWARD
SINGAPORE, August 12, 2013 - CWT Limited ("CWT" or the "Group") is pleased to announce that Lynda Goh, Deputy Group CEO and Group CFO, has won the Best CFO Award for listed companies with S$300 million to less than S$1 billion in market capitalization at the Singapore Corporate Awards (SCA) 2013. Winners for different award categories were honored at an awards ceremony and gala dinner last Wednesday, August 7.
"Lynda leads the Group with a very strong financial and operating background as well as 25 years of broad management experience. Always full of positive energy, her dedication and leadership have had a significant impact and will continue to play a critical role in CWT's continued growth," cited CWT Group CEO Loi Pok Yen. "I am delighted for Lynda that her efforts are being recognized. The award win adds another career milestone to her continuing legacy of success."
Goh has been with CWT for more than 20 years holding various senior positions. As Deputy Group CEO and Group CFO, her key role is to assist the Group CEO in the corporate development and strategic expansion, corporate finance and general management of the CWT Group of companies. A Certified Public Accountant and Fellow of Chartered Certified Accountant (UK), Goh is also responsible for managing the Group's engineering business, investments, treasury, financial, human resource and corporate affairs.
The Best Chief Financial Officer Award is one of the awards under the auspices of the SCA to recognize and acknowledge the best in financial leadership in Listed Companies. It recognizes CFOs who play the important supporting and advocacy role in promoting good governance, disclosure and transparency; acknowledges CFOs who are exemplary role models in corporate financial disclosure by going beyond the regulatory financial reporting requirements; and honors CFOs who help create long-term shareholder value. During the screening and selection process, the following criteria were taken into consideration: personal and professional qualities, knowledge and experience and track record and accomplishments.
