PETACH-TIKVA, Israel (AP) _ CyberArk Software Ltd. (CYBR) on Thursday reported a loss of $32.7 million in its third quarter.

The Petach-Tikva, Israel-based company said it had a loss of 80 cents per share. Losses, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 6 cents per share.

The results exceeded Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of 10 analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 20 cents per share.

The maker of software that detects attacks on privileged accounts posted revenue of $152.7 million in the period, which also topped Street forecasts. Ten analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $151.2 million.

For the current quarter ending in December, CyberArk expects its per-share earnings to range from 7 cents to 20 cents.

The company said it expects revenue in the range of $169.9 million to $176.9 million for the fiscal fourth quarter.

CyberArk expects full-year results to range from a loss of 54 cents per share to a loss of 39 cents per share, with revenue ranging from $592.5 million to $599.5 million.
