D. B. Corp Limited reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended December 31, 2023. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was INR 6,447.14 million compared to INR 5,657.91 million a year ago. Revenue was INR 6,647.65 million compared to INR 5,756.14 million a year ago. Net income was INR 1,239.77 million compared to INR 482.84 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 6.96 compared to INR 2.72 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 6.95 compared to INR 2.72 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was INR 17,849.52 million compared to INR 15,982.61 million a year ago. Revenue was INR 18,403.11 million compared to INR 16,236.14 million a year ago. The Company operates through two segments: Printing / publishing and allied business segment, which includes newspaper, magazines, printing job work, internet and mobile interactive services, and others, and Radio segment, which includes broadcasting of radio. The Company publishes five newspapers with Dainik Bhaskar 43 editions, Divya Bhaskar 8 editions & Divya Marathi six editions with 210 sub-editions in three multiple languages (Hindi, Gujarati, and Marathi) across 12 states in India. It operates radio segment through the brand 94.3 MY frequency modulation (FM) radio station with presence in seven states and 30 cities. The Companyâs newspaper brands are Saurashtra Samachar, and DB Star.
