Daekyo Co., Ltd. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2023. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was KRW 161,500 million compared to KRW 170,400 million a year ago. Net loss was KRW 9,700 million compared to KRW 8,500 million a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was KRW 497,000 million compared to KRW 506,700 million a year ago. Net loss was KRW 26,500 million compared to KRW 27,400 million a year ago.
Daekyo Co Ltd is a Korea-based company mainly engaged in the domestic education service and publishing business. The Company operates its business through four segments. The Education Service and Publishing segment provides day home tutoring services and online education services. In addition, it is also involved in the learning center business, educational publishing business, and academy business. The Educational Institution segment is involved in the provision of education programs for early childhood education institutions and afterschool classes. The Overseas Education Business segment is involved in the learning center business, and the provision of day home tutoring services. The Other segment is engaged in the asset and investment management business.
