(Alliance News) - Datalex PLC on Wednesday said it expects to report higher revenue for 2023, and expects growth to continue into the new financial year.

The Dublin-based software company, which specialises in digital retail technology for the airline market said it expects to report revenue of USD28.9 million for 2023, an xx increase from USD23.5 million a year ago.

This was driven by a 47% jump in services revenue to USD16.4 million, while platform revenue increased by around 3% to USD11.5 million, Datalex said.

The firm saw its earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation loss narrow to USD2.9 million from USD5.3 million in 2022.

Looking ahead, Datalex affirmed that it has entered 2024 with a "solid pipeline" of opportunities, and said it has a strong recurring revenue base.

Chief Executive Officer Jonathan Rockett commented: "The group achieved a number of positive milestones during 2023 that have set a solid foundation for 2024 and beyond.

"We have a number of transformation projects continuing in 2024 and 2025 for our new and existing customers. These projects are important steppingstones to unlock value for our customers and for Datalex," he added.

Shares in Datalex were flat at EUR0.52 each in London on Wednesday afternoon.
