ANWB signs printing agreement with Roto Smeets Group

Dutch motoring organization ANWB has signed a contract with printer Roto Smeets Group to manufacture the monthly magazine De Kampioen. The contract is a substantial one and will run for a period of three years. No announcement will be made about the precise figures involved.

The agreement shows the confidence both parties have in their collaboration, as well as a wish to work closer together. Roto Smeets Group is delighted with this order, which it views as confirmation of the Group’s positive development.

The contract covers both printing and afterpress services: RSG is to manufacture the body text in gravure, print the cover on its web offset presses, do all the binding and finishing work, and prepare the edition for postal delivery.

De Kampioen is the biggest family magazine in the Netherlands, with a distributed print run of 3,560,899 copies (HOI 2010) and a readership of more than 4,839,000 (Source: NOM Print and targetgroup monitor 2009-II 2010-I). De Kampioen is the motoring organisation’s membership magazine and gives reliable, practical information in articles on leisure, tourism, traffic and transport, all subjects that are of interest to a wide public. De Kampioen appears ten times a year.
