DNF reported earnings results for the quarter and year to date period ended September 30, 2014. For the period, the company reported sales of KRW 17,834 million compared to KRW 5,825 million a year ago. Operating income was KRW 4,578 million compared to KRW 348 million a year ago. Profit from continuing operations before corporate income tax was KRW 4,288 million compared to loss from continuing operations before corporate income tax of KRW 200 million a year ago. Net income was KRW 3,927 million compared to net loss of KRW 200 million a year ago.
For the year to date, the company reported sales of KRW 43,821 million compared to KRW 13,961 million a year ago. Operating income was KRW 11,357 million compared to operating loss of KRW 1,330 million a year ago. Profit from continuing operations before corporate income tax was KRW 10,174 million compared to loss from continuing operations before corporate income tax of KRW 2,804 million a year ago. Net income was KRW 9,408 million compared to net loss of KRW 3,114 million a year ago.
DNF Co.,Ltd. is a Korea-based company engaged in the development, manufacture and marketing of chemical products used for semiconductor industry. The Company mainly produces amorphous carbon layer (ACL) products, which are used as hard mask film materials; atomic layer chemical vapor deposition (AL CVD) products, which are used for dynamic random-access memories (DRAMs) and flash memories; titanium nitride (TiN) products, which are used as diffusion barrier materials; superoxidase dismutase (SOD) products, and others, such as high-k precursors, silicon precursors and others.
