Torsten Stolte becomes new Managing Director at dormakaba Germany
Torsten Stolte, a 46-year-old graduate economist born in Witten, will take up his new position at dormakaba's German headquarters in Ennepetal. He began his career leading sales and marketing positions in the building materials industry. Since joining the former company Dorma in 2009, Torsten Stolte has held various management positions within the dormakaba Group in Germany, the USA, and Switzerland. Most recently, as Chief Strategy Officer, he played a key role in developing the global growth strategy Shape4Growth, which aims to further drive customer focus and strengthen the company for the future.
Torsten Stolte, designated Managing Director of dormakaba Germany, says: "I would like to thank my predecessor Michael Hensel for his 25 years of successful commitment and wish him all the best in his new role. I am very much looking forward to my role as Managing Director. Germany is one of our most important markets worldwide with good and long-standing customer relationships. Together with my team, we see a lot of potential here to improve customer focus and customer satisfaction further."
