Duni Group takes majority share in reuse company Relevo

Duni AB (Duni Group), market leader in sustainable dining and food packaging solutions for the restaurant market, today announces the Group's majority ownership of the reuse company Relevo GmbH (Relevo). The purpose of the transaction is to further strengthen Duni Group's food packaging business and to provide circular solutions to customers for every occasion.

Having entered into a minority ownership in 2021, aiming for the circular economy, Duni Group now increases the Group's ownership from 24.51 to 50.02 percent in the German startup company Relevo. The Munich-based impact company currently provides catering and restaurant businesses with a complete tech-enabled system solution for reusables.

Duni Group therefore wants to join forces with Relevo to provide solutions that leave behind as little waste as possible", says Robert Dackeskog, President and CEO of Duni Group. "This means that we want to care, not only for the start-of-life of a product, but also for the end-of-life of a product, by providing a software to secure low emissions and promote rotable solutions".

Relevo offers a comprehensive, reusable solution for take-away food and beverages. This solution combines high-quality dishware, an easy-to-implement digital process to track and trace containers with a premium partner, as well as user services. Since its launch in 2020, Relevo has grown dynamically, working with more than 2,500 HoReCa partners in Europe and serving a community of over 250,000 end-users.
