August, 12th 2021Last May, and thanks to our Elis Getafe center, we had the opportunity to make a contribution to the wonderful work done by Madrid For Refugees (MFR) with a donation of bed and bath linen.
The donation from Elis Getafe, one of Elis's industrial laundries in Madrid, results in 50 complete sets of sheets, blankets and bath and sink towels that will be part of the reception kits for refugees, migrants and people at risk of social exclusion, and that MFR distributes monthly between the centers and the people with whom they collaborate.
Through donations of essential goods, such as hygiene items or household items, from businesses and individuals, MFR meets the basic needs that people may face when starting a new life or settling into a new one home.
For Elis, whose business model is based on the circular economy, this donation allows us to extend the life of our laundry and reduce the environmental footprint of our activity.
Well done to Madrid For Refugees for the work they do and for allowing us to collaborate with them.
