Comet Group signed an agreement for the acquisition of 80,5% of Master Fluid S.r.l.

Bagnolo in Piano (RE), May 30, 2014 - Emak announces that today the Comet Group, through its subsidiary PTC S.r.l., has signed an agreement for the acquisition of 80,5% of the share capital of Master Fluid S.r.l.. The remaining share will remain in possession of Lauro Cigarini co-founder of the company.

With headquarters in Rubiera (RE), Master Fluid operates in the projecting and manufacturing of special equipment for the industry and the environmental hygiene and preparations on industrial vehicles, realizing particularly high pressure cold and hot water washing equipment (water jetting), streets washing equipment, sewage cleaners vacuum units and pipes cleaning units. The company ended 2013 with a turnover of approximately €  3,4 million.

The transaction, valued at approximately € 0.8 million, will enable PTC to expand its range of products to increase its coverage of foreign markets and to develop synergies from the point of view of costs. The agreement provides that the closing will occur within the first ten days of the month of June.

P.T.C. S.r.l., with a turnover of approximately € 4 million, is a company active in the field of high-pressure water technology (water jetting), specialized in the production of hydrodynamic units used in industrial plants such as refineries, sugar refineries, petrochemical , foundries, cement plants, power plants.
The company is part of Comet Group, one of the world leading manufacturers of pumps for agriculture and industry, professional and semi-professional high pressure washers

The operation doesn't reach the he conditions of materiality provided for by art. 71, Consob Issuers' Regulations, by resolution n. 11971 of 14/5/1999 and its implementing provisions.
