Coca-Cola Andina enters the Sustainability Index of the Santiago Stock Exchange (Dow Jones Sustainability Chile Index).

Nine companies listed on the Santiago Stock Exchange will become part of the Sustainability Index of the Santiago Stock Exchange (Dow Jones Sustainability Chile Index, DJS / Chile).

This index is part of the Dow Jones Sustainability Index famil y and is composed by only 21 listed companies in the Santiago Stock Exchange.

Santiago, Chile - September 8, 2016 - Coca-Cola Andina (Embotelladora Andina S.A., Santiago Stock Excha nge:Andina-A, And ina-B; NYSE: AKO/ A, AKO/B), the second largest Coca-Cola bottler i n South America and one of the three largest in Latin America, annou nced today that it was selected to form part of the Dow Jones Sustaina bi l ity Index family (Dow Jones Sustainability Index or "DJSI").

Starting September 19, 2016, Coca-Cola And ina becomes part of the Dow Jones Sustainability Chile Index (DJSI Chile), forming pa rt of a group of 21 Chilean companies.

The executive added that "this acknowledgement from the DJSI is a reflection of our team's dedication and commitment to develop sustaina ble business processes and consistently deliver value to our stakeholders and the communities we have the privi lege to serve. This great achievement is also a futu re challenge to continue growing and strengthening our leadershi p and reinforcing our commitment to create shared value by integrating economic, social and environ mental aspects".

The scopes where Coca-Cola And ina most stood-out were bra nd ma nagement, customer relationshi p and ma nagement, risk and crisis management, environ mental policies, raw material sourcing, water related risks, corporate citizenshi p, occupational health and safety, and talent attraction and retention, among other variables.
