(Alliance News) - The board of directors of B&C Speakers Spa approved the half-year report as of June 30, reporting an increase in profit to EUR8.2 million from EUR4.6 million in the same period last year.

Consolidated revenues are EUR48.5 million, up nearly 30 percent from EUR37.39 million in the first six months of 2022.

Consolidated Ebitda is EUR12.1 million, up 45 percent from EUR8.3 million in the first six months of 2022.

Ebit amounted to EUR11.0 million up 52 percent from the same period in 2022, when it was EUR7.2 million.

Overall Net Financial Position was negative and amounted to EUR7.8 million compared to EUR9.4 million at the end of fiscal year 2022.

"The climate that continues to be breathed within the reference market is of great positivity towards the current year and confirms that the financial year can close on better production and sales levels than in 2022," the company specified in a note.

The group's management, given the return to normality of logistics costs and given the current stability of input costs, "believes that the conditions are in place to work on the progressive improvement of production and structural efficiency," the company note further states.

The acquisition of the U.S.-based Eminence Speakers, the company adds, "will then ensure greater visibility for the entire group and, reasonably, we believe we can observe the first positive effects as early as the current fiscal year."

B&C Speakers is in the green by 3.7 percent at EUR15.50 per share.
