SoftBank Group Corp. (TSE:9984) made an offer to acquire 40.05% stake of eMnet Japan.co.ltd. (TSE:7036) from eMnet Inc. (KOSDAQ:A123570) and Shinichiro Yamamoto for ¥1.8 billion on May 21, 2021. The offer is made for 791,200 shares at a price of ¥2,257 per share.
The offer will initiate on May 24, 2021 and will be valid till June 21, 2021. The deal is expected to be completed by June 28, 2021. E-Chon Accounting Corporation acted as external evaluation agency in the deal.
