Study shows that at the present stage, mobile sources account for about 46% of the local sources of atmospheric PM2.5 in Beijing, so how to grasp the traffic pollution situation in a more timely and accurate manner has become an important basis for environmental monitoring and decision-making! Black Carbon is the core component of PM2.5 emitted directly from mobile sources, and Nitrogen Oxides are important emission pollutants of big vehicles traffic pollution, so the pollutant cruise monitoring projects selected Back carbon, Nitric Oxide and Nitrogen Dioxide. During Beijing Winter Olympic and Winter Paralympic Games, the morning peak, evening peak and night peak will be monitored several times in different areas, ring roads and highways in Beijing. It provides guarantee services for the environmental protection of the Winter Olympic Games
ENVEA provided a Chemiluminescence technology Nitric Oxide analyzer (AC32e) and a Cavity Attenuated Phase Shift (CAPS) technology Nitrogen Dioxide analyzer (AS32M) (see the gas monitor page for more details) for the cruise monitoring of mobile sources at the Winter Olympics.
