NOTICE TO THE MARKET

Brasília, November 29th, 2018 - EQUATORIAL ENERGIA S.A., a corporation registered as a publicly held company with the Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission ("CVM"), headquartered at Alameda A, Quadra SQS, nº 100, Loteamento Quitandinha, Anexo A, Altos do Calhau, CEP 65.071-680, in the city of São Luís, Maranhão state, inscribed in the register of corporate taxpayers (CNPJ) under number 03.220.438/0001-73, with its organizational documents duly filed with the Maranhão Commerce Registry under NIRE number 2130000938-8, and shares traded on the Novo Mercado segment of B3 S.A. - Brasil, Bolsa, Balcão under the ticker "EQTL3" ("Company"), pursuant to article 157, paragraph 4 of Law 6404, of December 15, 1976, as amended ("Brazilian Corporate Law") and CVM Instruction 358, of January 3, 2002, as amended, hereby informs its shareholders and the market in general that:

On this date, the Company informs that as allowed by the Concession Contract, Cepisa requested to ANEEL for an extraordinary tariff review in 2019 as a substitute for the annual tariff adjustment.

In addition, the company confirms its intention to promote a full assessment of the Regulatory Asset Base.

Finally, the Company reiterates its commitment to keeping its shareholders and the market in general informed of any developments on this matter, as well as any other matters of interest to the market.
