Eregli Demir ve Çelik Fabrikalari T.A.S. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2022. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was TRY 36,722.56 million compared to TRY 18,262.74 million a year ago. Net income was TRY 2,564.86 million compared to TRY 5,002.63 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TRY 0.7328 compared to TRY 1.4293 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was TRY 100,535.32 million compared to TRY 43,060.31 million a year ago. Net income was TRY 14,830.34 million compared to TRY 10,803.78 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TRY 4.2372 compared to TRY 3.0868 a year ago.
Eregli Demir ve Celik Fabrikalari TAS is a Turkey-based company, which is engaged in the production of iron and steel rolled products, alloyed and non-alloyed iron, steel and pig iron castings, cast and pressed products, coke and their by-products. The Company produces plates, hot and cold rolled, tin, chromium and zinc coated flat steel and supplies basic inputs to automotive, white goods, pipes and tubes, rolling, manufacturing, electrics-electronics, mechanical engineering, energy, heating equipment, shipbuilding, defense, and packaging industries.
