Ever-Glory International Group, Inc. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2021. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was USD 60.555 million compared to USD 50.086 million a year ago. Operating loss was USD 3.773 million compared to USD 4.152 million a year ago. Net loss was USD 1.771 million compared to USD 3.794 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was USD 0.12 compared to USD 0.26 a year ago. For the half year, sales was USD 131.369 million compared to USD 108.441 million a year ago. Operating loss was USD 4.737 million compared to USD 7.377 million a year ago. Net loss was USD 2.941 million compared to USD 6.495 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was USD 0.2 compared to USD 0.44 a year ago.
Ever-Glory International Grou, Inc is a China-based company mainly engaged in retailing of branded fashion apparel and providing global apparel supply chain solution. The Company mainly operates through two segments. The Wholesale segment is mainly engaged in wholesale-channel sales made principally to domestically and internationally recognized brands, and department stores located throughout Europe, the U.S., Japan and the People's Republic of China (PRC). The segment focus on well-known, middle-to-high end casual wear, sportswear, and outerwear brands. The Retail segment is mainly engaged in retail-channel sales directly to consumers through retail stores located throughout the PRC as well as sales via online stores at Tmall, Dangdang mall, JD.com, VIP.com and others.
