EVOLUTION OF FAIVELEY TRANSPORT GROUP GOVERNANCE: STEPHANE RAMBAUD-MEASSON IS APPOINTED CHAIRMAN OF THE MANAGEMENT BOARD AND CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Following its meeting of April 7, 2014, the Supervisory Board of Faiveley Transport, chaired by Philippe Alfroid, announced the appointment of Stéphane Rambaud-Measson as Chairman of the Management Board and Chief Executive Officer of Faiveley Transport Group.

Stéphane Rambaud-Measson joined the Faiveley Transport Group on March 17, 2014 as Group Executive Vice President. With 23 years of experience in the railway industry, as subcontractor, manufacturer and operator of which more than ten years in executive positions in large international companies, he brings with him a wealth of experience in the management of complex projects combining technologies, geographies and difficult commercial environments as well as a strong expertise in change-management projects and strategic redeployment. 

Stéphane Rambaud-Measson replaces Thierry Barel. Chairman of the Management Board and Chief Executive Offcier since April 2011, and previously Chief Operating Officer since 2009, Thierry Barel leaves the Faiveley Transport Group which has today a solid order book. The members of the Supervisory Board expressed their gratitude for his engagement and his contribution.

A new phase now begins for Faiveley Transport Group, and Stéphane Rambaud-Measson declares: « It's for me a pleasure and a privilege to be appointed as Chairman of the Management Board and Chief Executive Officer. Our Group, Faiveley Transport, is extremely well positioned on its markets. It's a worldwide leader recognized for its high added value integrated systems and technology throughout the railway industry. To ensure continued value creation, we quickly need to adapt our way to operate to rapidly changing customers requirements and market conditions. With all Faiveley Transport teams around the world, I am going to focus all my effort and energy on this necessary adptation.
