Fasadgruppen expands to Jutland in Denmark through the acquisition of the masonry and plastering company Jan Tryk Facadepuds Aps (”Jan Tryk”).

Jan Tryk is based in Hjørring and delivers services within masonry, plastering and insulation with a large share of renovation projects around Jutland. The main customer groups are tenant-owner associations and private property owners. Jan Tryk has 20 full-time employees, and for the financial year 2021, its revenues amounted to about DKK 14 million.

The acquisition takes place in the form of a transfer of assets where Fasadgruppen’s subsidiary P. Andersen & Søn acquires the entire operations of Jan Tryk, including customer contracts, work tools, brand and employees.

Jeppe Danning, CEO of P. Andersen & Søn, said: “We see a perfect match with Jan Tryk who shares our view on quality and craftmanship, and we look forward to welcoming the entire team to P. Andersen & Søn. Jan Tryk possesses great expertise in plastering and insulation, and together we see large opportunities to win further market shares in Jutland."

Jan Tryk, CEO of Jan Tryk Facadepuds, said: “I have been active in Jutland for more than 20 years and have worked together with P. Andersen & Søn on several occasions. To merge our businesses is a natural next step where we create a strong platform for continued growth.”

Fasadgruppen is using existing cash to finance the acquisition. The seller has undertaken to re-invest part of the purchase price by acquiring existing shares in Fasadgruppen within one month for an amount corresponding to DKK 1.5 million. The shares bought under the re-investment are subject to a lock-up commitment for 36 months. The acquisition is expected to be completed during September 2022.
