Ferreycorp S.A.A. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2023. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was PEN 1,772.36 million compared to PEN 1,689.7 million a year ago. Net income was PEN 65.23 million compared to PEN 90.56 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was PEN 0.069 compared to PEN 0.095 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was PEN 0.069 compared to PEN 0.095 a year ago. Basic earnings per share was PEN 0.07 compared to PEN 0.095 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was PEN 0.07 compared to PEN 0.095 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was PEN 4,943.78 million compared to PEN 4,703.18 million a year ago. Net income was PEN 291.87 million compared to PEN 279.72 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was PEN 0.309 compared to PEN 0.3 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was PEN 0.309 compared to PEN 0.3 a year ago. Basic earnings per share was PEN 0.31 compared to PEN 0.3 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was PEN 0.31 compared to PEN 0.3 a year ago.
Ferreycorp SAA, formerly Ferreyros SAA, is a Peru-based company engaged in the import, distribution, sale, leasing and maintenance of construction, mining, agricultural and transport equipment and vehicles, such as tractors, trucks and excavators under the Caterpillar, Paus, Terex, Metso, Landini, Civemasa, Spra-Coupe, Massey Ferguson and Challenger brands, among others. In addition, through its subsidiaries Orvisa SA and Unimaq SA, the Company provides light machinery and small equipment rental and workshop services. As of December 31, 2011, the Company owned such subsidiaries as Inti Inversiones Interamericanas Corp, Fiansa SA, Cresko SA, Inmobiliaria CDR SAC, Motorindustria SA, Mega Representaciones SA and Fragoline SA, among others. On June 1, 2014, the Company acquired 100% stake in Equipos y Servicios Trex SA.
