2024 General Meeting of Shareholders of Flughafen Zürich AG
Summary

At today's General Meeting of Shareholders of Flughafen Zürich AG, all the points on the agenda were approved in line with the proposals of the Board of Directors. Based on the profit generated, both an ordinary and an additional dividend can be paid to shareholders.

The 2024 General Meeting of Shareholders of Flughafen Zürich AG focused on the financial statements for 2023 and the current developments in the present financial year. Flughafen Zürich AG posts a profit of CHF 304.2 million for 2023. The significant rise in earnings can be attributed to both aviation and non-aviation business.

This year's General Meeting at "The Circle Convention Center" was the first with Josef Felder as Chairman of the Board of Directors and Lukas Brosi as CEO. All points on the agenda were approved in line with the proposals of the Board of Directors, including the payment of a dividend of CHF 4.00 per share and an additional dividend of CHF 1.30 per share. Non-financial reporting was also voted on for the first time this year.

Election of the Board of Directors
The members of the Board of Directors standing for re-election - Claudia Pletscher, Corine Mauch, Guglielmo Brentel, Stephan Gemkow and Josef Felder (Chairman) - were elected for a further year. The representatives of the Canton of Zurich mandated to sit on the Board of Directors are the Head of Zurich's Department of Economic Affairs, Carmen Walker Späh, Beatrix Frey-Eigenmann and Vincent Albers. The representatives of the Canton of Zurich on the Board of Directors of Flughafen Zürich AG are not elected by the General Meeting of Shareholders but delegated by the Government Council of the Canton of Zurich.
