Fomento Resorts and Hotels Limited announced the opening of new hotel under brand name “Taj Hotel & Convention Centre, Goa” at Survey no.246/1, Vainguinim Plateau, Dona Paula,Goa 403004, March 1, 2020. This is the second hotel of the company. The hotel has 299 keys and associated facilities, catering to the meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions(MICE) segment. The hotel will be managed and operated by the Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL), pursuant to the Hotel Operating Agreement dated February 11, 2019. The same has been informed to the Exchange vide letter no. FRHL/BSE/365/19 dated February 11, 2019. IHCL also operates and manages the existing 5 Star Deluxe hotel of the company, Cidade de Goa consisting of 207 keys, located at Vainguinim Beach, Goa, with effect from April 1, 2019.
