Hacer Group begins construction on final apartments

New apartments selling fast at Burwood Brickworks

  • Hacer Group appointed to build the last two apartment buildings at Burwood Brickworks
  • Completion expected in the second quarter of 2023
  • 70% of the Terrace Collection sold, only 19 apartments in the Ardent Collection remain

MELBOURNE, 18 NOVEMBER 2021

Construction has begun on the final apartment buildings at Frasers Property Australia's landmark Burwood Brickworks community in Melbourne's east.

Appointed builder Hacer Group will deliver the last two buildings, known as The Terrace Collection and The Ardent Collection, both of which have already proven popular off the plan.

One-bedroom apartments are priced from $440,000 and two-bedroom apartments from $580,000.

Hacer has previously built the four 'Garden' apartment buildings in the community. The West Garden Apartments, South Garden Apartments, East Garden Apartments and Plaza Garden Apartments are all completed and sold out.

"Like the other apartments at Burwood Brickworks, the final buildings have received an exceptionally strong response from a broad mix of buyers - over 70% of the apartments in The Terrace Collection and The Ardent Collection have already sold", says Ms Bloom.

"There is no doubt that location has been a big drawcard for buyers. The new apartment buildings will be centrally positioned within the development and orientated towards the village green.

Artfully designed by Rothelowman - one of Australia's most influential and awarded practices - the architecture of the final buildings has been driven by a desire to recapture the grace of homes that represent the golden eras of Melbourne's built history, drawing on the city's grand Victorian terraces. The Terrace Collection will comprise 135 apartments across six levels while the Ardent Collection will comprise 94 homes in a five-storey building featuring a variety of one- and two-bedroom layouts.
