Commercial breakthrough and 2030 strategy established
The most significant event of the year was in October when Freemelt signed an agreement with a globally leading Fortune 500 technology company regarding eMELT. This agreement marks an important milestone in Freemelt's history confirming that eMELT meets the high requirements of the manufacturing industry in terms of reliability, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.

Furthermore, Freemelt launched eMELT-iD, a new 3D printer supporting industrial companies in application and product development. Freemelt offers a complete product and service offering, supporting customers from initial research and product development, followed by a seamless transition to cost-effective industrial serial production while contributing to a green transition in the manufacturing industry.

During 2023, the company has focused on establishing a scalable operating- and business model, strengthening the organization, and implementing a new 2030 strategy to accelerate commercialization and expand its business in Europe and North America. Freemelt’s ambition is to become market leader in selected segments within 3D printing and become a productivity partner to its customers by enhancing productivity, reducing operational costs, and maximizing long-term customer value for industrial customers in the medical equipment, semiconductor, energy, aerospace, defense, and orthopedic implant applications.
