FOX6: Efficiency according to DoE 2016

With the new line FOX6 FRIWO presents power supplies in the range of 6 W which meet the more stringent environmental requirements of the US Department of Energy (DOE Level VI).
Depending on the requirements, the units are available in various versions: The standard portfolio contains nine voltage variations of 5 to 48 VDC available as interchangeable plug system and plug-in power supply with either European or US bottom. All power supplies can be purchased with a standard secondary lead, at that end a variety of different plugs (e.g. coaxial or jack plug) can be assembled. Customer-specific leads are possible too. The 5V voltage version is also with USB output available. The units are available for ITE and medical applications.

All FOX6 units feature low power consumption in idle mode and high efficiency when running. In addition, the units have a wide range input of 90 to 264 VAC (50 to 60 Hz) and can be used between 0 to 45°C. Other benefits include the protection against short circuit, overload and overvoltage.
For medical applications, the units meet the requirements of 2 x MOPP and feature a minimum leakage current of ≤ 10 µA. An AC adapter system with IP42 protection for harsh environments is available as additional accessories.

In addition to the energy efficiency standards DOE level VI and ErP level V, the product line is certified in accordance with IEC/EN/UL 60950 or IEC/EN/ ANSI/AAMI ES60601 respectively.
