FRONTEO, Inc. reported consolidated earnings results for the nine months ended December 31, 2018. For the period, the company reported net sales were ¥8,407,752,000 against ¥9,088,841,000 a year ago. Operating income was ¥240,566,000 against operating loss of ¥435,021,000 a year ago. Net income was ¥138,370,000 against net loss of ¥1,348,707,000 a year ago. Basic earnings per share were ¥3.45 against basic loss per share of ¥35.66 a year ago.
For the full year ending March 31, 2019, the company expects net sales to be ¥11,421 million against previous guidance of ¥13,800 million, Operating income to be ¥246 million against previous guidance of ¥700 million, net income attributable to owners of the parent to be ¥14 million against previous guidance of ¥300 million, net income per share to be ¥0.37 against previous guidance of ¥7.89.
FRONTEO, Inc. is principally engaged in the legaltech business and the artificial intelligence (AI) solution business. The Company operates its business through two business segments. The Legaltech business is involved in the provision of e-discovery and forensic services. The AI Solution business is involved in business intelligence, digital communication and healthcare business.
